"What's the point of Online Stores which produce no free web traffic?"

Online stores are a version of the replicated websites found all over the internet. They are just like other copycat mlm business models, with one exception.

They go all out to sell you a product on their homepage. Big mistake!

Some are not quite so bold as to sell you something immediately; some actually give you a free product... in return for your email address. Then they bombard you with emails to encourage you to join them in their business even promising you, ‘your very own website just like their one!’

Whoopee!!

Either way, these online stores offer little or no unique content. Worse still, the content they do offer is sales based and search engines hate that.

They create a website based around a product of their mlm business and encourage others to duplicate this process. This not only clogs up the search engine databases but also sets up others in direct competition with their own mlm business!

Not the smartest move I would have thought.

Sure I can see the duplication potential with this business model but it matters little because once critical mass is achieved, the search engines will simply compress these out of existence.

It's a tough game to succeed in business long term on the internet. There are plenty of business ideas clamouring for your attention. Get it right with the search engines and you prosper.

Get it wrong and it's Game Over!

Keep in mind that the goal is always to provide a unique voice, a brand of one. It is fine to display your entrepreneurial spirit... but always in a way that is uniquely your own.
